I was traveling from Santiago de Chile to Madrid via Iberia and I needed to make a transfer to Sofia. The second flight was operated by Bulgaria Air. From the chilean airport gave me only one boarding pass and told me that I need to ask for the another one when I land in Madrid which was fine, happened to me many times before. The problem came in Madrid. They was unable to give me a boarding pass because the system from Bulgaria Air is not allow them to do so! And even I was on the correct terminal for departure, I was needed to check out from the airport, then going on the main entrance to find Bulgarian Air there. It was 7 in the morning and they appeared about 12, one hour before the flight. Meanwhile I was checked twice by the military, getting cold instead of just waiting in the comfort transit zone, all this because of the Bulgarian Air system.
Don’t get me wrong, the fight was OK. Actually I was really nice Surprised with the company ( the little chocolate- very nice idea), but just be ready to have some problems of that kind.

My flight with Bulgaria air was smooth and pleasant no matter there was a layover in Paris. We took off and landed on time. The Charles De Gaulle airport is recently renovated and it was really easy to navigate to my connecting flight.
