I flew the crazy itinerary: MMX-ARN-CPH-HKG. The short-hauls are quite good. No free food, but free water and seat selection - I appreciated! However the SAS lounges for business and gold customers in schengen areas are just for a coffee and a small snack - very bad!
About the long-haul flight I can say that even with some restrictions was nice. I mean you have 2 meals for 12h long flights with 2 drinks + unlimited water. If you need an additional orange juice or a beer you have to pay for it and it is expensive. The IFE was good with good movie selection including dedicated section for scandinavian movies. Even the plane is from an old generation the cabin was fresh and modern!
The cabin crew insisted the window shades to be down throughout the flight and they did not allow me even for just a quick view outside.
The A340-300 however was very nice plane! On that long journeys the 2-4-2 config. is definitely the best! The seats were comfy with pillow, blanket and earphones provided for free.
