Varna airport is located in the outskirts of the city, connected with the city center by bus number 409, running a few times per hour. Journey time takes around 20 min and ticket price is only EUR 0,50.
There are no hotels immediately at the airport premises, but the city is very close

Good overall experience. Quick process through the check-in area and the customs. During summer season is possible formalities to take more time due to the tourists. In the winter is calm with only few flights per day.
Easy access with the public transport. Free wi-fi everywhere. Some snacks and coffee shops are open but little bit pricy (than same in the town).
Good overview to the ramp and the planes. All gates serviced with buses.

Quite during the winter, domestic flights and a few international ones daily. Terminal is clean, new and transit is very quick both ways. No bridges and no walking, only buses which slows down boarding a bit. Costa Coffee and MacDonalds in departure zone are very expensive compared to Varna city, maybe double.
