I flew LAX-SFO (737) + 2h stay + SFO-CDG (787). The airport handling was not good at all. The queue on Economy Class check-in was huge. I had the chance to use the desks for *Gold customers, but all the employee was about to finish work. Luckily I was the last one who they served. There was many passengers in Business class who was told either to go to economy queue or just to wait unknown how long for the next shift. The connection process was easy and smooth, but what I didn't like was the restrictions for "Basic Economy" - impossible to choose seats, standart carry-on only if you have transatlantic fligt in the itinerary, nowever they give the Gold customers free checked baggage which is good.
Their Club lounges are disaster from the point of catering.
The legroom on the short flight was compared to the ultra low-cost airlines, however on the transatlantic they did it very well with very nice catering service, plenty of food and drinks, AMAZING crew.
I am attaching a video flight review of the flight SFO-CDG:
